Hello everyone,

Here are six reasons why chess players make great partners. If you're thinking long-term, why not start by dating a chess lover this Valentine's Day.

1 - No need to remember anything: You don't have to remember birthdays, anniversaries, first-meeting, etc. Chess players are okay if you wish them happy chess any day, every day. Most chess players forget stuff themselves so they are okay with other mortals forgetting everything.

2 - Low Maintenance: Chess players are extremely low-maintenance when it comes to gifts. You can keep gifting them a chess set again and again and they won't complain. No need to waste time looking up online stores with hundreds of categories. Simply head to the best chess store, pick the first chess set and you're done. Of course browsing around and picking up other chess gifts are a bonus.

3 - Great babysitters: Collect the entire neighbourhood kids and you will have a chess class going in no time. The always have a victory to share for all the 123 moves or a draw to explain. Good for the kids as well.

4 - They never get bored if you keep them waiting: That's a super plus with a chess player partner. Arrive for your date three hours later and you will find them all busy with a chess tactic in the unlikeliest of places.

5 - Chess players are extremely let live variety: If you do end up living with or marrying a chess player they will never get in your way. There will always be times when they are off to a tournament or busy studying. They don't need much space and are extremely adjusting if you want to be out all day with your friends' gang.

6 - Chess players are usually very punctual as they have been trained with the zero tolerance rule and truly understand the value of time quite unlike other folks out there.
